Lebanese Moslem scholars assembly condemns Israeli violations

Moslem Scholars Assembly in Lebanon condemned Friday the recent Israeli violations in South Lebanon. In a statement, the Assembly called for supporting the resistance as the real deterrent against Israeli aggressions, asserting that "preserving resistance means keeping the country's sovereignty and security."
The statement considered that the provocative paper clippings dropped by Israeli warplanes as another kind of violation that is more dangerous than the direct military attack. "The U.S. efforts at the UN Security Council to issue unjust resolution against the Lebanese resistance is a flagrant attempt and clear bias to Israel."
