More Iraqis killed in explosions in Baghdad

One persons was killed and other 4 injured in a booby trapped car explosion driven by a suicide bomber that targeted the headquarters of the Islamic Dawa party which is led by the Iraqi prime minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari in al-Mansour quarters to the north of Baghdad on Friday.

Iraqi police sources said the explosion took place at an inspection point for the party, 25 meters from the building, and that the killed man is a civilian living at the place of the explosion, and all the injured persons are members of the special guards of the party.

One Iraqi was also killed and other three injured in a bomb explosion that targeted a procession for the American forces in the new Baghdad area on Friday morning. Iraqi police sources said the explosion missed its target.

Two members of the Iraqi police were injured in a bomb explosion targeting their vehicle in a Baghdad quarters on Friday morning.

Also in Baghdad, unidentified gunmen killed Sheikh Kamal Eddine al-Ghreifi m one representative for the Shiite clergy Ayatullah Ali al-Seistani. Iraqi security sources said that the attack also resulted in killing two of his escorts and wounding other three.

Moreover three various attacks to the north of Baghdad resulted in killing five members of the Iraqi police and two Iraqi soldiers and injuring other 11. Seven of them are members of the Iraqi police and four soldiers.
