Three Iraqi armed organizations want Ayham al-Samerai dead
Iraq, Politics, 7/1/2005
Former Iraqi minister Ayam al-Samerai, who announced on Wednesday the formation of a political party representing the national resistance, received death threats from three armed organizations accusing him of disseminating lies about the Iraqi resistance.
On Wednesday, al-samerai announced that the "national council for Iraq's unity and building up" represents "resistance men who did not carry out attacks against civilians."
In a joint statement, the Ansar al-Sunnah, the Islamic Army In Iraq and al-Mujahideen Army said "we announce it is permitted to shed blood of Ayham al-Samerai.. we were very patient with his lies and we used to deny it and give the facts. But this is no longer being an effective method with him."
