Washington warns Americans from travel to Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 7/1/2005
The US Department Of State warned Americans from traveling to Iraq. In a message to that effect, the US warned against the risk of taking land routes or planes to head for or leave Iraq.
As a result of fears relating to safety and security, the American government prevented its employees from using the Iraqi air ways, as they are only permitted to use the Jordanian Royal airlines. The message added that traveling by car in Iraq is very dangerous, recalling the attacks against many American sedan cars and military convoys.
