Lebanese Shiite clergy: Israel causes instability in the Middle East

Chairman of the Islamic Shiite Higher Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Abdulamir Kabalan on Thursday stressed that Israel is the cause for instability in the Middle East and it rejects peace and the implementation of international resolutions.

Kabalan underlined, during his meeting with the Italian ambassador to Lebanon, that the region will still be in a state of instability if the Palestinian people do not regain their rights in establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and the occupied Syrian Golan's lands as well as Lebanese Shebaa farms are not restored to their legitimate owners.
