Syria and Qatar discuss situation in the region

Syria and Qatar conferred on Wednesday the situation in the Arab area and international and regional developments.
President Bashar al-Assad and Prince of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, talked also over bilateral relations between the two states and means of boosting them on all levels as well the coordination and consultation continuity on issues of common concern.
President Assad arrived this morning to Doha in a short visit to Qatar. He is accompanied by his wife. Meantime, Prince of Qatar and his wife held a lunch banquet to honor President al-Assad and his wife. Wife of President al-Assad, Mrs. Asma al-Assad, visited this afternoon the education city of Doha and family consultations center. Mrs. al-Assad, accompanied by Sheikha Mouza Bint Naser al-Mesned, was briefed on the two institutions.
