Israeli raids after Hizbullah bombarded Shebaa farms, the Golan

The Lebanese Hizbullah party bombarded Israeli positions in the occupied Syrian Golan heights and the Shebaa forms in south Lebanon on Wednesday afternoon, while Israeli military sources admitted that four Israelis were injured. One Israeli soldier was killed.

Witnesses said that fighters of the Lebanese Hizbullah party fired several missile and mortars at Shebaa farms where the Israeli forces were positioned since the retreat from south Lebanon. An area which have been witnessing frequent clashes between the two sides.

News reports in Beirut said that the Israeli artillery retaliated immediately by bombarding the border areas and hills near Shebaa farms, noting that confrontations which took place recently between Israel and Hizbullah were limited.

The Israeli forces retaliated by bombarding areas surrounding several villages in south Lebanon five times on Wednesday. The Israeli warplanes launches attacks by missile at positions, Israeli military leaders alleged they are for Hizbullah party.

A security source said the Katyusha missiles and mortars targeted the positions of the Israeli forces in Ramtha and al-Sammaqiya. Other quoted statements said that the Islamic resistance, the military wing for Hizbullah, also opened fire at Israeli artillery positions in Amfiet on the heights of the occupied Syrian Golan.

The Lebanese police announced that the Israeli warplanes bombarded on Wednesday the outskirts of Kafer Shouba village in south Lebanon just half an hour after an attack by Hizbullah at Shebaa farms. No casualties were reported.
