Al-Assad calls governors to reform

President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday said governors should perform a positive role in the administrative reform process in all provinces, asserting importance of the administrative side in their work.
In a meeting with governors of all the Syrian provinces, President al-Assad talked about priorities in the administrative reform process, asserting necessity of determining problems facing citizens as well as suggesting proper solutions for those problems.
He also called on the governors to set a work plan within a specific deadlines to achieve the aspired targets.
In a meeting with Members of Aleppo Chamber of Commerce' Council headed by Mohammad Saleh al-Mallah, the president discussed economic and investment issues on the backdrop of the laws and legislations issued, in addition to proper means for supporting the national economy.
Members of the council presented their future visions regarding the economic development process in the country.
