Morocco, Botswana establish diplomatic relations

Morocco and Botswana decided to establish diplomatic relations at the level of ambassadors "to develop friendship and cooperation in political, economic and cultural."
Under the document on the establishment of diplomatic relations signed Monday by Morocco's and Botswana's ambassadors to the UNO, Mohamed Bennouna and Alfred M. Dube, respectively, the two African countries agreed to set up diplomatic ties on the basis of legality, independence, territorial integrity and non-interference in domestic affairs.
