Conference on latest developments of banking sector in Syria

Central Bank of Syria in cooperation with Bank of Lebanon and the Investing Bank Magazine, is to hold a conference on the latest development of banking sector in Syria on 2-3 of next July.

The conference concentrates on the latest developments in the banking sector following the legislations and procedures adopted by Syria to adopt international banking policies in order to attract Arab and Foreign investments to Syria.

Governor of Lebanon Bank, Governor of Central Bank of Jordan, and Chairman of the General Council of Banks and Islamic Monetary Associations, and Head of the Syrian-Lebanese Businessmen Council are to take part in the conference.

The conference deals with the role of the central banks in monetary policy, the role of the Arab and foreign organizations in developing the banking sector, role of the Islamic banks in enhancing the banking sector, the adopted procedures to modernize the banking sector in Syria and evaluation of the experience of the private banking sector in Syria.
