Israel is a big threat to the region: Asefi

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid Riza Asafi has stressed that Israel constitutes a big threat to the countries and people of the region. Asafi pointed out that the Israeli accusations against Iran regarding the elections are false and baseless and aimed at weakening the Iranian role in the region and the Islamic world.
Asafi reiterated in a press conference on Sunday Iran's support to the Palestinian cause, asserting Iran's commitment to its right in possessing nuclear energy for peaceful use.
