Syrian national party rejects foreign intervention in Pebanon

The Syrian Social National Party in Lebanon warned Friday against the "American-Zionist plans to incite sedition, partition and tension in Lebanon as well as to escalate hostile campaigns against Syria."

In a statement, the party underlined commitment to Lebanon's Arab role far from foreign custody, asserting importance to uncover those who have planned and executed the explosions and assassinations in the country.

It also called for stopping prompt and premature accusation that don't help disclosing reality but serve only the foreign plans in the region.

The Party asserted that foreign intervention in the Lebanese affairs aims at spreading bloody chaos in the region.

For his part, Lebanese Minister of Public Works, Transport and Expatriates Adel Hamieh called on the Lebanese to face the American-Israeli scheme against Lebanon, support the Lebanese resistance and boost national unity.

"Resistance' arms is a national issue," he said, pointing out that protecting the resistance and its arms is inherent with the Lebanese people's will and unity.
