Chinese fm visits liberated city of Qunaitera
Syria-China, Politics, 6/25/2005

China's Foreign Minister Li Zhao Xing said Friday that both Syria and China suffered from occupation, hoping that Syria could restore its occupied lands. During a visit to the liberated city of Qunaitera, he planted an olive sapling in Qunaitera Friends Garden, and was briefed on the destruction caused by Israeli troops before their withdrawal.

Governor of al-Qunaitera, Nawaf al-Fares, presented al-Qunaitera shield that symbolizes the Day of Liberation to the minister.
