Egyptian minister and the electricity grid project with Syria, Jordan

Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy Hasan Younes has described the electricity grid system among Syria, Jordan and Egypt as successful on the level of the grid projects among the Arab states.
He asserted that the project enhances the Arab economic integration due to its contribution to all fields of the development in the Arab states.
In a statement to Sawt al-Arab Radio broadcast on Thursday, Younes, who participated in the tripartite meeting for the seven-way electric grid project, stressed that the meeting concentrated on the way of expanding this important project and the possibility of transferring greater electrical energies, pointing out to the foundation of a joint Syrian-Egyptian company in this regard.
Younes reviewed the stages of the grid which will be completed through connecting the eastern Arab countries with Europe through Turkey and the western Arab states through Spain.
