Syria denies American accusations

Syria's foreign minister Farouk al-Shara has rejected accusations US secretary of state Condaleezza Rice in recent days, in which she held Syria responsible over what had taken place in Lebanon.
Al-Shara stressed in a press conference with his Chinese peer who is currently visiting Syria, his country's care to maintain stability on Lebanon and that Syria has carried out complete international obligations set by UN Security Council resolution 1559.
