All Iraqis should be mobilized to overcome security problems, Benaissa
Morocco-Iraq, Politics, 6/23/2005

Security problems in Iraq can only be overcome if "all components of the Iraqi society are involved," stated Moroccan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Benaissa, before the international conference on Iraq held Wednesday in Brussels.

The Minister said Morocco is satisfied with the "sound decision" taken recently by the Iraqi national assembly, allowing Sunnites to take part in the elaboration of the Iraqi Constitution. The political process in Iraq is an important step towards restoring security and stability for the emergence of a "new Iraq," he pointed out. Morocco is ready to reinforce "solid bilateral relations" with Iraq, he said, noting that relations between the two states have not been affected during the two latest years.
