Syrian security forces arrest users of false credit cards

Security forces in Damascus arrested two individuals who used fake credit cards to steal more than of USD 1,5 million.
In a statement to SANA, Head of the Criminal Division in Damascus Jalal Maulbared indicated that on June 30, his department was informed about two men who bought many luxurious watches and some expensive items in Damascus using credit cards then offered them for sales at cheap prices.
The two men confessed their fraud, saying they bought a great number of fake credit cards from an Arab citizen residing in Britain for Sterling 200 for each card.
They added they purchased a lot of expensive items using these false cards. Officer Maulbared said all the purchased goods were revovered, and the two men were brought justice for trial.
