Turkey stresses ties with Syria

A Turkish Minister of State underlined on Wednesday the importance of developing ties with Syria stressing that Syria's policy has widely opened the door to cement ties between the two countries.
In a meeting with Syrian journalists delegation, Bashir Atalai said that, "Turkey is currently looking at Syria as a sisterly country that is linked with by long borders and relatives who are living along these borders," noting at the same time that the political and economic link between the two countries would contribute to developing these ties in other domains.
