Insurance horizons in syria are promising: official

Director General of the Insurance Supervising Board in Syria, Abdullatef Aboud, on Wednesday said that the Board will issue the rules for the system of insurance agents in Syria as well as prepare a special system to offer insurance medical services for the first time in Syria.

"Insurance horizons in Syria are promising," and "they opened doors to those who desire to work under the umbrella of the Board which promised to work with transparency," aboud told SANA. "The Insurance Board is taking necessary and strong measures to prepare a suitable environment, paving the way for private companies into the Syrian insurance market," he added.
