Sharaf: New plan to upgrade railways

The Minister of transportation unveiled yesterday a comprehensive plan for developing train services and restructuring the railway sector in association with the private sector.
The government has approved the necessary funds for the plan, which involve procuring new locomotives and carriages, as well as upgrading train stations nationwide, Minister Essam Sharaf told a Cairo workshop.
