Sinai: two killed, 3 injured in clashes between the police, Bedouins

One police man and one persons suspected to be involved in preparing Taba's explosions were killed and other three police members injured on Friday in clashes that took place during a mopping up operation carried out by the security forces in the downtown of Sinai in search for the first persons accused for Taba explosions.
A security source said that the security forces received information saying that the first persons accused in Taba explosions which targeted in October, 2004 Israeli tourists, is hiding in mountainous areas in the heart of Sinai, and therefore the security forces carried out the mopping up operation in these areas. The security forces described the first fleeing accused man in being Muhammad Ahmad Saleh Fleifel.
The source added that clashes took place between the police and suspected persons and Sinai Bedouins tribes protected them during which one man (not identified ) was killed in addition to one police man while three security men including one police officer were injured.
