China underlines importance of cooperation with the Arab states

China underscored interest for developing and expanding cooperation and friendship with the Arab states.
In a meeting with participants in the Chinese-Arab Cooperation 2nd Forum which concluded its deliberations on Wednesday, Member of the Chinese State's Council Tang Jia Shwan gave emphasis to "China's insistence on continuing efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East in line with the international resolutions and the land-for-peace formula." For its part, the Arab delegation held Israel as responsible for hindering the peace process and called for "putting limits," to the double standard policy in the implementation of the International Security Council's resolutions.
