Sorour receives British minister of state

Egyptian People's Assembly Speaker Ahmed Fathi Sorour received yesterday British Foreign and Commonwealth and Middle East Affairs Minister Kim Howells.
The British ambassarlor in Cairo attended the meeting. The meeting tackled the relations between the two countries, especially in the parliamentary fields.
Sorour explained to the British official the democratic changes taking place in Egypt and the broad lines of the presidential election law.
He also asserted that Egypt was passing through the critical stage in its history towards deepening the democratic regime.
Meanwhile, the British official said the democratic and political changes taking place in Egypt, the biggest Arab country, would positively reflect on all countries of the region.
