Arab League chief condemns Israel's settlement policy
Regional-Israel, Politics, 6/14/2005
Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa strongly condemned Israel's settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories as flagrant violation of the international resolutions and laws.
In letters sent to the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and the EU Foreign Ministers on Monday, Moussa warned against dangers of Israeli hostile practices and procedures to change the Arab nature of the Palestinian cities and towns through the building of new settlements in the occupied territories. Moussa called on the international community to shoulder responsibility towards the deteriorated situation in the occupied Arab lands and pressure Tel Aviv into abiding by the international resolutions.
