Qathafi: Power lies within the citizens - American evacuation anniversary

JANA reported that "At the climax of the Libyan peoples celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the evacuation of American military bases and forces from the Libyan soil," Libya's Leader of the Revolution, Muammar al-Qathafi made today the following statement through the official TV:

In the name of God;

On the occasion of the elapse of 35 years, since the evacuation of the biggest military base of the biggest country. We remind ourselves and the world, that America neither entered Libya with force nor war, otherwise the entire Libyan people would have been martyred to prevent the occupation of their precious land, but it entered coolly through a government that comprised an agent king and bribed agents of peculiar sort of people - mercenaries- from alien families, whom were not Libyan Arab families, who sold the homeland for money because it was not theirs . Shame on those proxies and despicable alien families.

When, the free sons of Libya took over, on great alFateh, they ordered those foreign forces out on this day, because the great Libyan people led by alfateh revolution announced the evacuation and went into military training camps to get ready for waging the battle of liberation, in case those forces did not withdraw. Indeed, we had resolved to fight and liberate, and started preparations for a showdown, so the military bases withdrew without fighting.

For colonialism not to return once again, making the armed people a tangible reality is a must, so the enemy itself gets ascertained of it. The armed people is invincible, and we must be resolved to make the Libyan land flames to the enemies so their feet get burned no matter what their might is. There is no life without dignity, no dignity without freedom, no freedom without strength and no strength without people. Strength is the invincible armed people, let us men and women alike always get ready to defend the homeland and for ever by keen interest and observance of the general military training and reliability in the peoples armed rotations.

Long live, the solid internal popular front based on the authority of the people, let us be resolved to keep the Libyan soil free and pure, let us be ready for martyrdom for its sake if the case arises and let our motto always: Freedom or death .. Victory or martyrdom.
