Qathafi receives Darfur rebel leaders

Libya's leader Muammar al-Qathafi received yesterday leaders of the Equality and Justice Movement and the Sudanese Liberation Movement "within the framework of his efforts to solve Darfur (Sudan) problem, on the bases of his mandate by 3rd African summit on Darfur to continue his contacts with all parties until a permanent solution to the problem of Darfur is reached," JANA reported.

JANA added "The Leader of the Revolution stressed during the meeting the necessity that the leaders of both movements shoulder their responsibility and rise to the level of his confidence on them as an example expressing the will and aspirations of the ancient Sudanese people, to realize peace and stability in the province. The Leader also urged leaders of the Equality and Justice Movement and the Sudanese Liberation Movement, not to waste time."
