Othman: Inflation downs to 4.5 percent, growth ups by 5.2percent

"The GDP growth rose by 5.2 percent and total investments to LE 24 billion in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2004/2005," said Planning Minister Othman Mohamed Othman in a press conference Yesterday.
The private sector's investments rose to LE 13.5 billion at the same period, he said noting that the new companies' investment went up to LE 3.8 billion.
The inflation declined to 4.5 percent at the end of third quarters of the current fiscal year against 8.2 percent and 14.1 percent in the first and second quarters respectively.
