Rasheed: Egypt proud to be African

"Egypt, represented by President Hosni Mubarak, is proud of belonging to Africa, which serves as a cornerstone in its relations with the outside world," Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed said yesterday.
Opening the third session of the African Trade Ministers, Rasheed said Egypt has always spoken with an African voice in international conferences and called for writing off its backbreaking debts.
