Morocco, Politics, 6/10/2005
Spokesman of the officially non-recognized "Al Adl Wal Ihssane" organization, Fathallah Arsalane, was summoned Thursday afternoon by the judiciary police at the request of the Rabat first instance court prosecutor, according to sources in Rabat.
Arsalane was summoned following his statement to a Moroccan daily saying he supported the statement of Mrs Nadia Yassine, member of the same movement, and ran last week by "Al Ousbouaaya Al Jadida" weekly.
Nadia Yassine, daughter of the spiritual leader of the Islamist movement (Justice and Charity), Abdessalam Yassine, voiced, in a interview with the weekly, her preference for the republican regime.
Following her statements, Yassine was summoned Friday, June 3 by the judiciary police at the request of the Prosecutor.
