Poverty in Syria in a new statistic

Some 11.4 % of Syria's citizens, about two millions Syrians, are living under poverty line Joint Syrian and UN study showed Wednesday.
"10.4 % of Syrians gain less than two dollars per day," the study which was published by the Syrian central office of statistics in cooperation with experts from the UN developing office in Damascus UNDP. The GDP per capita Purchasing Power parity is $3400.
The study added that 8.2 % is the annual average of unemployment and 12% is the unemployment average among poor people.
