Abul-Gheit: North Korea keen on posting Egypt on developments of its nuclear programme

Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit received yesterday N. Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choe Su Yong, who is now visiting Egypt.
In statements following the meeting, a source at the Foreign Ministry said that the two sides discussed the bilateral relations.
Abul -Gheit said Egypt is interested in following up the latest developments in the Korean Peninsula said the source.
The Korean official affirmed that the depth of the relations between Egypt and North Korea.
He added that Egypt was for achieving stability and prosperity in the Korean peninsula via peaceful means.
For his part, the N. Korean official briefed Abul -Gheit on the latest developments in the Korean Peninsula, together with the six-nation nuclear disarmament talks.
Al -Ahram quoted Abul- Gheit as saying that North Korea was keen on posting Egypt on the developments of the North Korean nuclear program.
