Egyptian paper condemns Israel's accusation against syria
Syria-Israel, Politics, 6/6/2005

Egyptian daily of Al-Jomhoureh condemned Sunday latest accusations against Syria by Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom "who has ignored that Israel has been occupying Arab lands including the Syrian Golan which is considered an obvious violation of the international law and the UN legitimacy resolutions."

The issue relates to Israel's criticism of Syria's development of its military capabilities.

"Israel throws accusation against Syria when at the time it posses a huge arsenal of offensive weapons including the mass destruction weapons that threaten security and stability in the Middle East," the daily said in its editorial.

Al-Jomhoureh criticized the absolute support and protection provided by the U.S.A to Israel who has been threatening the whole region by its nuclear military machine.
