Sarkozy: new elements in probe on Moroccan expat murder

French Interior Minister, Nicolas Sarkozy, said "interesting elements" have been collected in the probe on the murder last Sunday of French-born Moroccan, Driss Gha•b.
The Moroccan expatriate, 43, was shot down in the town of Perpignan (southern France). Four bullets shot by a man clad in black took the life of Driss and ended a week of wobbly peace that reigned after the killing of a young Algerian by a group of gipsies.
Sarkozy, who paid Friday a visit to the place where clashes between Maghrebans and gypsies took place, announced that "interesting information will be made public in the coming days."
"All information on the ongoing probes will be revealed at the right time," he told a press briefing.
