Hammoud confers with Pederson on developments
Lebanon-UN, Politics, 6/4/2005

Lebanese Foreign Minister, Mahmoud Hammoud, discussed with UN. Secretary General Personal Representative to South Lebanon, Gier Pederson on Friday the security situation in the Lebanese south.

Hammoud considered the continued Israeli violations of the Lebanese air space as a dangerous provocation and this should be mentioned in the report of the UN. Secretary General Kofi Annan to the UN Security Council Resolution on the occasion of the approaching date of the renewal of the mission of the acting international forces in south Lebanon, pointing out to the Israeli admission of firing a missile into the Lebanese territories last month.
