Lebanon, Iran to enhance bilateral relations

The bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iran were discussed on Thursday during a meeting between Lebanese Minister of Energy, Water and Industry Bassam Yammin and Iran's Ambassador in Lebanon Masoud Edrissi.
Following the meeting, Edrissi told reporters that "the talks centered on prospects of cooperation between the two countries in fields of electric energy and fuels," adding that he conveyed a message from Iranian Energy Minister in this regard. He added that the talks also dealt with Iran's participation in supplying Lebanon with gas and fuel to produce electricity.
