Syria's Prime Minister Naji Otari and the Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ahmad Qurei' underlined "the deep-rooted and fraternal relations between the Palestinian and Syrian people and their role in facing threats targeting the Arab nation."
The two sides, during a meeting in Damascus, reviewed the situation in the Palestinian lands, the practices of the Israeli government against the Palestinian people, Israel's continuation of settlement policy and of building the racial separation wall at the expense of the Palestinian properties and lands.
They discussed efforts being exerted on the level of the Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and the Palestinian Territories and the achievement of a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
