Rasheed confers with EU envoys on promoting industry and technology transfer

Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohammed Rasheed Tuesday conferred with a number of European Union ambassadors in Cairo on promoting relations with the EU, especially in the fields of industry and transfer of state-of- the-art technology.

A reliable source at the Foreign Trade and Industry Ministry said that cooperation between the two sides comes as part of efforts exerted by the Ministry and the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian products in local and foreign markets. FEI Chairman Galal el-Zurba, Executive Director of the Industry Modernization Centre Selim el-Talatli and a number of the center's members attended the meeting.
