Cairo releases 52 Muslim Brothers students

Judicial sources said that the Egyptian attorney general Maher Abdul Wahid issued on Monday a decision for the release of 52 students, members of the Ikhwan al-Muslimin (Muslim Brothers) group, so as to be allow them to take their exams by the end of the year.
The sources explained that the students, who were arrested during demonstrations took place in several governorates during this month, were released under a guarantee.
This is is considered the second group of students to be released within 48 hours after the release of 77 students on Saturday for the same reason. The Egyptian authorities confirmed that this decision comes as a humanitarian initiative to not damage the future of the students.
Since the beginning of this month, the authorities launched a campaign of arrest against the Muslim Brothers that resulted in detaining 850 of them according to official sides and 2000, according to Muslim Brothers groups.
