Laying cornerstone of Sheikh Zayed village in the outskirts of damascus

A cornerstone of Sheikh Zayed cooperative village in Demas district, in Damascus suburb, was laid yesterday in the presence of Housing and Construction Minister Mohammad Nehad Mushantat and Charge d' Affairs of the United Arab Emirates UAE embassy in Damascus.
This village would be the first integrated village regarding services and utilities. The village, which is expected to be ready to be inaugurated at the beginning of May 2007, extends over an area of 500,000 square meters and includes 450 villas.
