Russian foreign minister warns against unjustified pressures on countries

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday warned against attempts to exploit some articles of the UN resolution 1559 to practice unjustified pressures on a number of countries in the region and interfere in their internal affairs.
"The peace process should be resumed on all tracks in order to achieve the just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East based on the UN relevant resolutions, particularly 242 and 338 and the Land-for-Peace formula," Lavrov said in a statement.
