Peace is indispensable for Euro-Med progress

Foreign ministers of the European Troika and the Arab states members to the Euro-Med partnership underlined today the necessity of achieving the just and comprehensive peace in the region as an indispensable factor in order to take the partnership its cooperative dimensions.
During the meeting which was chaired by Luxemburg and the membership of Ireland and Britain in the presence of Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara and the Higher Representative of the EU Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana, talks tackled the situation in the region and its effects on the EU-Med Association.
