No security violations during the Lebanese elections

While no security incidents were registered in the Lebanese elections in which the rate of turnout was the preoccupation of members of al-Hariri bloc, with nine of its members who ran unopposed in the elections.
Saad Eddine al-Hariri expressed his regret over the Christian rate of participation in the elections of the capital Beirut. He said that these elections witnessed active participation in certain areas and "less participation in other areas. And this is a regrettable situation."
