Hip Hop festival to tour Morocco

The Moroccan cities of Casablanca, Marrakech and Meknes will be the set of the first Hip Hop festival slated May 27 through June 2.
Themed "I love Hip Hop in Morocco," the festival aims at making the Moroccan public discover the Hip Hop culture, which is a popular urban youth culture, closely associated with rap music and with the style and fashions of African-American inner-city residents.
The festival will feature outstanding American Hip Hop musicians including, Sha Stimuli, the Embroidery Club band and a duo of innovative DJs, along with Hip Hop and Rap bands of each city to give Moroccan artists an opportunity for a national and international recognition.
