Iraq, Politics, 5/28/2005

Al-Qaida organization in Mesopotamia said that its leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi "is in a good health condition two days after it was announced he was injured and was taken to a neighboring country to receive medical treatment," according to a new statement for the organization on the Internet.

The organization explained "our Sheikh is in a good health condition and he runs the Jihad efforts by himself and follows up its details until the hour of prepaing this statement." The statement continued that "Thanks to Almighty God, Abu Musab has a solid leadership and two deputies and advisors," refuting news on electing a deputy for al-Zarqawi.

A statement issued on the Internet for al-Qaida organization in Mesopotamia said that the organization thinks of appointing a deputy for al-Zarqawi. The US has a sum of $ 25 million for information leading to arresting Zarqawi.
