Regional-USA, Politics, 5/28/2005

Amnesty international new report for 2005 said the United States of America has been the pioneer in perpetrating human rights violations noting that her rejection to investigation was to hide "heinous actions." Director of the Amnesty International William Schultz said in a press conference in Washington on the report, that it made a detailed and strong criticism of the US relating to human rights violations.

He noted there were documents on the US using using torture and maltreatment on a wide range in Afghanistan, the matter that underlined that "it is posing as a pioneer in perpetrating human rights violations." Shultz said that the US refusal of any independent and real investigations over maltreatments committed in Abou Ghreib jail in Iraq and other detention centers was for many reasons among which is a bid to "Hide heinous actions."
