Morocco's King Mohammed VI launched this Thursday in Casablanca the construction of a center for the protection and reintegration of girls in precarious situation.
The project, to be carried out by the Mohammed VI foundation for the reintegration of prisoners, the government and the Casablanca local authorities, will cost an estimated 7.5 million MAD (US$ 833,000).

Two similar centers will be built in Mohammedia (40 km north of Casablanca) and Dar Bouazza rural commune in Nouaceur (south of Casablanca).
The sovereign chaired the signing of three conventions related to the construction of the centers for the protection and reintegration of girls in a precarious situation.
The conventions were signed between the foundation, the justice minister, the youth department, and the Casablanca authorities.
