US archeologist visits Palmyra

The American archeologist Professor Steve Manilzi described the Ancient Syrian city of Palmyra as a unique historical site in the world.
Professor Manilzi, who headed an American tourist group, said Tuesday in a statement that Syria is distinguished by deeply-rooted civilization, pointing out that the group was astonished by this human history and the ancient archeological constructions as well as the current interesting and development process in Syria.
