Kharrazi: Europe has to make a positive move
Iran-European Union, Politics, 5/24/2005
"Iran still insists on its previous stance and calls on Europe to take positive steps," Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said Tuesday, according to IRNA.
IRNA reported "In this round of talks, Iran's stance is transparent. We call for removal of ongoing problems with regard to meeting our national interest," he said about the ongoing negotiations regarding nuclear technology development. He added "The European side was not successful in taking determining and constructive steps to settle problems but Iran is still ready to remove the current stalemate."
IRNA added "Pointing to transfer of part of nuclear fuel enrichment process to Russia, the Iranian minister said the proposal was offered by Russia regarding technical issues but feasible studies should be carried out."
