Maghreb and Mediterranean Oil Conference to promote region potentials

Marrakech will host the 3rd Annual Maghreb and Mediterranean Oil and Gas Conference May 25- 26 to promote the region oil potentials, said a communique of Moroccan national Office of hydrocarbons and mines (ONHYM).

The conference will consolidate the kingdom's role in building an euro-Mediterranean oil and gas market and promote the region's potentials.

It will focus on several issues notably exploration and development, oil and gas-LNG, new ventures, corporate strategies, national oil companies, new investment and projects and energy law and oil finance.

The 3rd annual event will bring together top Maghreb and Mediterranean players in exploration, oil and gas-LNG, including Governments and National Oil Companies, as well as over 150 Senior Executives and Officials from a highly prospective region in world hydrocarbons, and provide key insights and quality networking opportunities.

Organised by ONHYM in collaboration of the international company "Global Pacific and Partners," the Conference builds on the achievements of the previous meetings held in Marrakech 2003 and Barcelona 2004.
