Exports to EU up by 24% to north America by26%: report

Egyptian exports to the European Union (EU) have witnessed an increase of 24 percent so far this year, the Foreign Trade and Industry Ministry's report revealed yesterday.
Egyptian exports to Spain rose by 46 percent to US$ 397 million, while France witnessed a reduction in its Egyptian imports.
At the same time, exports to North America achieved an increase of 26 percent, reaching US$ 619 million.
Exports to Asia overall have increased by 9 percent to reach US$ 1.024 billion, while individual exports to India, Japan and Israel have reduced, the report showed.
